Short answer. An artist's fee for a private event in Latin America ranges from under USD 30,000 for boutique formats or local talent to more than USD 750,000 for global icons. Flights, hotels, technical and hospitality riders, production and taxes are added on top. The only firm figure is the answer to a formal offer.
Why there is no catalog price
Artists are booked on supply and demand. The same artist can quote differently depending on:
- Date and season: weekends, December and Easter week raise the fee.
- Tour routing: if the artist is already touring the region, the cost drops.
- Format and length: acoustic, half band, full band or DJ set; 30 to 90 minutes.
- Territorial exclusivity: radius clauses and nearby dates in the country.
- Career moment: a new release or an active tour moves the price.

What the fee does not include
Crew flights, hotels and meals, ground transport and security, technical rider (stage, sound, lights, backline), hospitality rider, permits and insurance. In Costa Rica, a 15% income tax withholding also applies to non-resident artists: most international artists quote their fee net.
A crew ranges from 3 to 8 people for an acoustic format, and from 20 to 45 for an orchestra or a global headliner. That number drives much of the logistics budget.
