In short. Chepe Rock is a free open-air festival founded by Costa Rican band Percance, an artist D+F works with. It had editions in 2015 and 2016 at Plaza de la Democracia and in 2017 at La Sabana, with local and international acts such as Los Caligaris, Inspector, Panteón Rococó and Bersuit Vergarabat.

The idea

Percance launched Chepe Rock to create a stage shared by emerging and established, local and international bands. Bassist Maurizio Luconi said the goal was an annual festival and "a window to the international market for local bands" (Teletica).
